I believe that in every human we have the good (obviously our good atributes) and the bad (our flaws if you will). Sure some people show their flaws more while others show their good parts more, it's up to the person.
What I think our society has forgotten is that you can't live with out one or the other. You gotta have both. Sure, it sucks, but hey that's life for you so get over it. In society it seems like people try too much to get rid of the bad, but what they are missing is that without the bad then we wouldn't be able to understand what good is. Without good then we wouldn't know what something 'good' was. I think a lot of people seem to miss this. For ever bad thing their is an equally good things that comes from it and vice versa.
But now-a-days people are just too lazy to step back and look at the entire situation and find the good parts and the bad parts, we are all guilty of simply writing something off as either good or bad and not finding both in the situation. Maybe if we stopped not looking into the situation and actually used our brains for something then we would perhaps be a much more content society. Who knows.

Do you think that some things (but NOT all things) are judged to be "good" or "bad" based on the culture we live in? For example, Native Americans in the Amazon love to cook and eat spiders for meals. In the US we would say this is both wrong and bad. We NEVER intentionally eat spiders! I could go on and on with differences of opinion on marriage, child rearing, occupations, etc. So do you think that there are, maybe, universal good and bad (child abuse is always bad, genuine smiles are always good) and cultural good and bad?
