I think that the most hilarious thing is people who are put in charge of something and take it WAY too seriously. I mean if it's like a nuclear power plant then yes I would hope the guy takes it seriously. What I mean is those people whose job isn't that important but who act like it is.
My favoite part of these people is when you do some minor offense and they ask in an arrogant manner, "Well, didn't you read the rules? It clearly states on page 20563, section G, 4th paragraph that you were at offense." I'm like really who has the time to read all these thick and boring rule books we are always being issued.
Now my all time favorite was "It says on page 16 of the handbook, in section H the fifth paragraph I believe...blah blah blah". I just can't get over these people, they make my day, they really do. Just how they think that they are so important for having read the stupid handbook (or whatever) that they actually can tell you where in the book everything is.
Now I have two theories about these people. 1) this is a desperate cry from all the introverts out there that they have no social life and therefore no real life so to speak of and this is how they spend their nights. Memorizing the rules, it's a nightly ritual for them. Or 2) these people are just full of themselves and are making it up, trying to sound all important and impressive, though they really sound like know-it-alls. They believe that by throwing random pages, section and so on, at you that you will believe them, have higher respect of them and not argue with them.
Well, that's my topic of the day, people who know the entire handbook.
